Please read the dog's entire bio before you apply. Sadly, we are no longer able to respond to every application, but will contact the one that is a good match within 3 days. Hulky is a male morkie (maltese/yorkie cross). This sweet boy is almost 9 yrs old and 13 lbs, but you really would think he is much younger, he looks amazing as he has clearly had a great home. He is trained, sweet, calm and a pleasure to be around. He would like a home with someone home most of the time and a doggy playmate that is close to his size. Hulky is not a huge fan of children, so would like to be in an adult home with no children planned for the future. He is pretty calm and would be a good dog to go to work with his person. Most of our dogs are not available to an out of the area adoption because of difficulty to follow up. Becca 2
Becca 2Becca 2Becca 2Becca 2Becca 2Becca 2
  • Pug, Chihuahua, Mixed
  • Spayed/Neutered
  • Up-to-date with routine shots

Please read the dog's entire bio before you apply. Sadly, we are no longer able to respond to every application, but will contact the one that is a good match within 3 days. Becca is a female 6 yr old chug or at least she looks like a chihuahua/pug mix. She is 11-12 lbs, stocky built like a pug and has a curly tail. She may seem shy at first but once she gets into your home I come out of my shell she will run around dive into dog beds, roll around in them and then want to meet everyone in the home. She loves to give kisses and even tries to kiss the other dogs in the home! Her cute curly tail is always going! You can tell she is such a happy go lucky girl who just wants to be apart of the family and be loved. She is good with both cats and dogs. If you want a cute, silly, attentive, loving dog, then she is your girl! She may have had a rough start in life as she seems to have had puppies before and also had a cherry eye (which has been repaired) and has an ulcer in that eye that is healing but she may have some residual scarring in that eye. She will need a patient home where she can warm up to her family at her own pace and not be left alone too much. She quickly wags her little curly tail and its so sweet. Most of our dogs are not available to an out of the area adoption because of difficulty to follow up. If you do not live within a 2 hr drive of Orange County, please email us before applying to see if the dog you are interested is may be a candidate for long distance adoption. Mariah

  • Great Pyrenees, Mixed
  • Spayed/Neutered
  • Up-to-date with routine shots

Please read the dog's entire bio before you apply. Sadly, we are no longer able to respond to every application, but will contact the one that is a good match within 3-5 days. Update 4/12/21, please note that we are still accepting applications on this pup as we have not found her perfect home, if you have already applied, are ready to adopt and your application fits the criteria below, please drop us an email at pupsandpalsrescue@yahoo.com so we can take another look. If you have not applied yet, please apply. Mariah is a female Great Pyrenees (mix?) pup. We say a mix as she is on the smaller side and has more gray on her coat then normal for the breed. Smaller does not mean small, she will still likely be in the 60-70 range but of course we cannot promise. She is about 4 months at this time, so the perfect age to join a family. Mariah is loving, sweet, attentive and so cute. This breed is known for being confident, independent thinkers and protective of their property. She should not go to a home with children under 5 and will not be a good apartment dog, as this breed tends to be vocal when protective as they are property guardians. You can already tell that she is very smart and in the right home with the right socialization she will be incrediable. No first time pet owners for this pup, this is a more challenging breed. We are looking for a home that: *Has another medium to large/young/sweet dog as a playmate *Has a yard, not a patio but an actual yard where she can do her roaming with a secure fence of at least 5'. *Has recent herding/working dog experience *Someone is home during the day (post COVID too) *Has time and patience for a large puppy that is to smart for her own good, she will challenge you. *No small children (under 5) as she is mouthy and no dogs that will be annoyed by a teething puppy (example super seniors or tiny purse dogs). She is not available to an out of the area adoption because of difficulty to follow up. If you do not live within a 2 hr drive of Orange County, please do not apply. If you are interested in adopting one of our rescues, please visit our main website for adoption procedures at www.pupsandpals.net and then fill out our application. Please note that we are all volunteers so it may take up to 3 days to process your application, but you will hear back from us if your application is a good match for the pet. Icee is a female 7 yr old (born 2014) chihuahua/pomeranian mix. She is 10.5 lbs and so cute. She is very cute although pretty shy at first and has the best coat, so fluffy and pretty. Her owners were moving and were unable to keep her. She is good on the leash and used to living with other dogs. Children over 6 would be best. Please read the dog's entire bio before you apply. Sadly, we are no longer able to respond to every application, but will contact the one that is a good match within 3 days. Jicama is a little female senior chihuahua, just about 8-9 yrs old and just under 7 lbs. Jicama is very sweet and easy to get along with, just likes attention and being held yet is pretty low maintanence. Jicama does have a cataract in one eye so her eyesight is pretty limited on that side. She had a dental cleaning and had some teeth pulled but that doesnt stop her. She is a sweet and easy girl who would make someone a great little loyal companion. She has some age related stiffness in one of her back legs so no super long walks for this pup. Jicama is papertrained. Most of our dogs are not available to an out of the area adoption because of difficulty to follow up. Please read the dog's entire bio before you apply. Sadly, we are no longer able to respond to every application, but will contact the one that is a good match within 3 days. Jacob is a male 14.5 lb chubby chihuahua, he is very chubby and should be closer to 13 lbs. He was born 1/2012. He is super sweet once he warms up to you, but is cautious for the first 10-15 min. Probably not ideal with small children. He is quiet and crate trained and good on the leash on a harness. He likes other dogs and is very cute with the best colors and a cute face with blue freckled eyes. He does have a small "cherry eye" on one of his eyes, but since its not bothering him, has been there a very long time and is very small, we are opting not to put him through surgery. Please read the dog's entire bio before you apply. Sadly, we are no longer able to respond to every application, but will contact the one that is a good match within 3 days. Mr Bean is a male 6-7 yr old chihuahua, a middle aged ittle boy. He is loving, social and super cute but he does also have a mind of his own and likes to be the boss. He is a great little watch dog and will protect his home. Mr. Bean is just under 8 lbs. He loves strutting around like a much bigger dog. He is ok with non-bossy male dogs as he can be pretty bossy himself, female dogs would be best. He is food possessive, so no small children please. Mr Bean has a heart murmur, he is not on any medication and it does not bother him one bit, but its hard to predict what the future holds. He also has some disk issues on his back, since we dont know anything about his past we dont know when it happened but we do know that he is painful at times and to keep pain to a minimal we do have to keep him at a good weight (he cant get too heavy). Most of our dogs are not available to an out of the area adoption because of difficulty to follow up. Please read the dog's entire bio before you apply. Sadly, we are no longer able to respond to every application, but will contact the one that is a good match within 3 days. Tito is a male 9 yr old tiny chihuahua, all of 5 lbs. He is very sweet, likes being carried and gets along with other dogs. Tito does have some lower back issues and walks a bit slower then most, but it doesnt stop him at all. He also had a dental cleaning and some teeth pulled. Tito is a precious boy, not fiesty or snappy at all, just sweet and calm (although he is bossy with other dogs who try to dominate him). Because he is so small and because of his back, older children only and not large/playful dogs as they could hurt him without meaning to.
