  • Prefers home without cats

Please read the dog's entire bio before you apply. Sadly, we are no longer able to respond to every application, but if your application appears to be a good match for the dog we will reach out within 3 days. Tobee is the most adorable 1yr old Pomsky (pomeranian/husky mix). He was recently acquired by his family as a friend for their Pomsky. He a great dog, and very loved but he is too focused on the cats in the home so they feel it is only fair to the cats to find him an appropriate home. His personality is very similar to a husky, he has endless energy, plays very vocally, and will try to escape and make a break for it if given the chance and he LOVES to play with other dogs, and gives kisses to every person he meets. A playful dog friend in his new home and a back yard for playtime will required for this pup. An owner with Husky experience would benefit him as well. Tobee was recently neutered, and still likes to lift his leg in new environments, so he will need some work on this. He is striking eyes, softest fur and at 22 lbs he is the perfect size to take everywhere. Most of our dogs are not available to an out of the area adoption because of difficulty to follow up. If you do not live within a 2 hr drive of Orange County, please do not apply. Liela is about 3 yrs old and 15 lbs. She is pretty quiet and gentle, good on the leash and very sweet. She bonds quickly and likes other dogs as well. We are just guessing on breed, but maybe maltese/westie/? Her coat is very straight and not as soft as a maltese. • Prefers home without small kids

Please read the dog's entire bio before you apply. Sadly, we are no longer able to respond to every application, but will contact the one that is a good match within 3 days. Harley 4 is a male 2 year old poodle mix, he is just over 20 lbs. He was adopted from us as a young pup and was just returned as he was not a fit for his home. The good: Harley is friendly with most, comes up and greets people nicely, says hello to other dogs, rolls over for belly rubs. He is good on the leash, likes his toys and treats and knows some commands such as sit and down. He does have some negative qualities too though, he can be a bit posessive in his home/food and new people in the home need to go slow (slow intros/snacks/controlled setting). He also has a startle strong startle reflex and does not do well when quickly woken up from sleeping or if he is snuck up on. Finally, he hates some appliances such as the vaccum and should be in another room or crate when they are used. If you can get past his quirks, he is a fun, loving, super snuggly lap dog who loves walks/runs and exercise and outgings. He is doing amazing in his foster home and has not shown any agression, when we have seen him bark he has been pretty easy to re-direct. Most of our dogs are not available to an out of the area adoption because of difficulty to follow up. If you do not live within a 2 hr drive of Orange County, please email us before applying to see if the dog you are interested is may be a candidate for long distance adoption. • Prefers home without small kids

Please read the dog's entire bio before you apply. Sadly, we are no longer able to respond to every application, but will contact the one that is a good match within 5 days. Marbella is a female 9-10 yr old silky/yorkie type mix, a little 12 lb girl (a little chunky and she should be 8-9 lbs) with the prettiest expression on her face. She is sweet and social and loves attention/love. Marbella came to us with huge mammary masses, they have been removed and biopsied and were thankfully benign... now she needs a home who will take great care of her and love her forever. She does guard her person and is fiercely loyal, so a single person home maybe best unless you are comfortable with some training for resource guarding. She gets along with the dogs and cats in the foster home and does not look or act her age, she is pretty active. Most of our dogs are not available to an out of the area adoption because of difficulty to follow up. If you do not live within a 2 hr drive of Orange County, please email us before applying to see if the dog you are interested is may be a candidate for long distance adoption. Please read the dog's entire bio before you apply. Sadly, we are no longer able to respond to every application, but will contact the one that is a good match within 3 days. Brewster is a male 2 yr old, 20 lb pug mix.... either puggle (pug /beagle) or chug (pug/chihuahua). Brewster is a timid boy, he gets scared easily of new places and new people but in a home he is a very sweet boy. He does better on anti anxiety medications as he gets overly stimulated and reactive. He will need a dog savy home willing to take their time with him, slow but constant socialization, training, patience. He is very clingy once he decides to trust you (and it doesnt take long at all). A nice calm/social dog may help him by showing him appropriate behavior. Because he is so fearful a home without children is best as visiting friends may be too much for now. He is pretty good on the leash, loves to walk or run in quiet places and very cute. He enjoys getting in the car for rides too. Brewster loves the company of other dogs and gets along with them so well. Most of our dogs are not available to an out of the area adoption because of difficulty to follow up. If you do not live within a 2 hr drive of Orange County, please email us before applying to see if the dog you are interested is may be a candidate for long distance adoption.
