  • Spayed/Neutered
  • Up-to-date with routine shots

Please read the dog's entire bio before you apply. Sadly, we are no longer able to respond to every application, but will contact the one that is a good match within 5 days. Charlie is a female Pomsky (Pomeranian/Husky) born 1/31/2021. She is 18-19 lbs and so beautiful, she is literally the center of attention everywhere she goes. She is very friendly and likes to play rough, so another medium/large size young and playful pup would be ideal... and an equally active owner. She loves to play fetch, throw around her toys and run (in a fully fenced area). She does bond very closely with one person in the family and prefers to spend most of her time around that person, so while she is friendly enough to be a family dog, she is not really into the children in the home. She can be very vocal and has some separation anxiety so no apartments for her, the neighbors will not love you. Whoever adopts her will need to want to integrate a dog into every part of their life. She is still working on her housetraining. She is leash trained, likes car rides and walks. Most of our dogs are not available to an out of the area adoption because of difficulty to follow up. If you do not live within a 2 hr drive of Orange County, please do not apply. Bengi is a male 2 yr old terrier/chihuahua mix, a sweet low rider who loves attention, belly rubs and snuggling with people he knows. He is a nice, quiet, gentle boy who has lived in a home with children. His family faced some financial hardships and had to give him up. Bengi is 16-17 lbs and has the best eyes... so soulful. He gets a little scared and could use a little more training but he will make someone a great friend. Please read the dog's entire bio before you apply. Sadly, we are no longer able to respond to every application, but will contact the one that is a good match within 5 days. Marbella is a female 7 yr old silky/yorkie type mix, a little 8-9 lb girl with the prettiest expression on her face. She is very sweet and social. Marbella came to us with huge mammary masses, they have been removed and biopsied and were thankfully benign... now she needs a home who will take great care of her and love her forever. She does guard her person and is fiercely loyal, so a single person home maybe best unless you are comfortable with some training for resource guarding. Most of our dogs are not available to an out of the area adoption because of difficulty to follow up. Please read the dog's entire bio before you apply. Sadly, we are no longer able to respond to every application, but will contact the one that is a good match within 5 days. Miku is a female chihuahua mix, (maybe with rat terrier) born around 2/2021. She is around 4.5 lbs now and will likely mature at 5-6 lbs. Miku is very sweet, pretty and little shy. She LOVES other dogs of all sizes and would prefer a canine friend. She is very snuggly, likes to be under your neck or on your shoulder and is a great travel buddy. She is doing well on learning how to walk on a leash but will need a little more work. She is good with quieter kids. She has a pretty loud bark for a little dog and while she does not bark non stop she does alert you of "danger", which could be just a leaf outside. She would do best with someone who can be home much of the time. She is almost crate trained but is still working on housetraining. Durango
Durango Durango Durango Durango Durango Durango
  • Australian Terrier, Yorkshire Terrier, Mixed

  • Up-to-date with routine shots
  • Prefers home without small kids

Please read the dog's entire bio before you apply. Sadly, we are no longer able to respond to every application, but will contact the one that is a good match within 5 days. Durango is a male terrier mix, we guess australian terrier or yorkie mix but he does have a very rough terrier coat, not like a yorkie. He is 6 yrs and 9.5 lbs with a short cute tail that wags nonstop. Durango is active, determined, good on the leash and very treat motivated, very much a little confident terrier who will need a home willing to provide lots of exercise. Durango is a smiley little guy who loves to play! He loves his toys, and will always bring them over to you to play with him. He will put the toy in your hand so you can play tug with him, and whenever he gets the toy away from you he will put it right back in your hand again! And if you manage to get it from him, he’s waiting for you to throw it and fetch it. When he’s not playing, he just wants to cuddle with you and give you kisses. He will lay right next to you with his head on your lap for as long as you will let him. He is good on a leash, with his potty training, and likes to be held. He is very treat motivated, and should pick up any new training fairly quickly. Durango is friendly and loves meeting new people and dogs outside the home (unsure about cats and kids). In the home he is protective of his person and will need an owner experienced with stuborn little terriers and no children. He will resource guard, mostly his resting place so he should not be allowed on furniture. Most of our dogs are not available to an out of the area adoption because of difficulty to follow up. If you do not live within a 2 hr drive of Orange County, please email us before applying to see if the dog you are interested is may be a candidate for long distance adoption. Please read the dog's entire bio before you apply. Sadly, we are no longer able to respond to every application, but will contact the one that is a good match within 3 days. Lychee is a female 9-10 yr old apple headed chihuahua with the cutest little face. She came to us from the county shelter and has not had great care most of her life. She had to have multiple mammary masses removed (benign) as well as having all of her teeth pulled due to a raging infection. She is sweet, easy, cute and we would love to find her a retirement home. Lychee is 6-7 lbs and has a great face. She loves attention and following her person around the house but she is also pretty independent, she doesnt need to be on the person, just in the proximity. Other dogs are ok too as long as they are not too persistent in bugging her and she does try to get some of the small dogs to play with her. On 8/30/21 Lychee had to have both of her eyes removed due to glaucoma. Daisy Mae is a female chihuahua mix born sometime in March of 2021. She is small and cute and likes being held. We estimate that she will mature at the 7-10 lb range but of course no promises. Daisy was originally a stray and has not had an easy start in life, but she is sure to be a great little family pet. Daisy is looking for a bestie to spend her days following around and snuggling. She loves to play with all kinds of toys and loves the sunshine. While she currenly lives in a home with a cat and a dog, she is super bossy with both and would love to be the only pet. When its time for cuddles she looks for her person to crawl up in their arms and take a nap. She is shy at first around new people but warms up once she know she can trust you. She is quiet, playful, hilarious, sweet baby ready for her forever family. Because of her size she is too small for toddlers or large dogs. Lucy is a 4yr old, 6lb dear headed chihuahua, a precious golden colored girl with very expressive eyes and a “ go go go" personality. Lucy loves to be part of everything from following you around the house to going outside the backyard, anything happening with her human Lucy wants to be part of it. She is sweet, house trained, loves to play with nonaggressive dogs, loves to sit on laps and will happily hang out in a dog purse. She does get tired quickly but really loves to be a part of the action. Lucy was born with deformed back legs, her knee caps simply don't function so she carries her legs similar to a frog. Dogs are amazing and Lucy is the most amazing of all, she doesn't know she is different and is happy getting around in “her way". Lucy has had several x-rays and surgical consults. Sadly, she is not a candidate for surgery. Her case is so complicated the surgeon could not give any guarantee her movement after surgery would be any better than her movement before surgery. Putting Lucy through such a long and painful procedure with so many unknowns didn't seem fair. Lucy will never be able to walk normally. Lucy is not in pain, she is the sweetest most loving girl, we accept Lucy "the way she is”, and we hope to find her a home that will love Lucy the way she is as well. This pet is altered, vaccinated, microchipped, and has had a brief temperament evaluation to help us determine what type of a home he/she would thrive in. Please read the dog's entire bio before you apply. Sadly, we are no longer able to respond to every application, but will contact the one that is a good match within 3 days. Cisco was abandoned left overnight tied to a fence by a vet's office, he was a mess and clearly has not had good care for a long time. He came to us with ear infections, skin infections, eye infections and a minor heart murmur. He has done great with all of his treatments, his skin is starting to look good, his eye are clear (although he does have dry eye and will need eye drops for the rest of his life), he has been neutered and had a dental cleaning with 7 teeth pulled. He is a trooper. While Cisco does run into things, he is not bothered by it at all, he havigates small steps, doors, finds food/water and wants to explore. He is about 15 lbs and we guess 10-12 years old. He is social and loving and wags his little tail all the time. Deebo is a little male 3 yr old terrier mix, maybe yorkie/schnauzer. He is 12 lbs and has a great expression on his face and amazing ears. Deebo is sweet but shy, loves other small dogs for snuggling and playtime and is pretty good on the leash. Once he trusts you he is affectionate, good in the car and loves to play with toys. He is a jumper, so high fences are important but he is overall very mellow for a young dog, he has a great personality. He has some allergies so that will likely be an ongoing thing and he does need some more work on housetraining, although it is getting better. He seems good with children, although past toddler age and quieter children would be best. Most of our dogs are not available to an out of the area adoption because of difficulty to follow up.
