Please read the dog's entire bio before you apply. Sadly, we are no longer able to respond to every application, but if your application appears to be a good match for the dog we will reach out within 5 days. Reid is a male terrier mix pup born on 4/20/22. Our best guess is that that are all some combo of yorkie/jack russel/schnauzer and maybe other little terriers. Whatever they are, they sure are cute. He is around 7 lbs now so he will likely mature around 11-15 lbs but that just an estimate. Reid is the smallest of the litter and loves to please. His hair will likely turn more silver . These pups stayed with their original family a little too long so they didnt get individual training early on and will need a bit more socialization, but they are sweet, trusting and have been around kids/dogs/cats. Most of our dogs are not available to an out of the area adoption because of difficulty to follow up. If you do not live within a 2 hr drive of Orange County, please email us before applying to see if the dog you are interested is may be a candidate for long distance adoption. We only make consider long distance adoptions for dogs who have been in our rescue for 6 plus months with no local candidates. If you are interested in adopting one of our rescues, please visit our main website for adoption procedures at www.pupsandpals.net and then fill out our application. Please note that we are all volunteers so it may take up to 3 days to process your application, but you will hear back from us if your application is a good match for the pet. We do not have a shelter/kennel. Our pets are fostered/boarded all over LA and Orange County. This pet is altered, vaccinated, microchipped, and has had a brief temperament evaluation to help us determine what type of a home he/she would thrive in. Please note that we put lots of time and effort to make sure our pets are ready to be someone's perfect pet before they go home.... and to make sure that we will have the best possible match for this pet we do require an : application, interview, adoption fee and in some case a home check. Listed for adoption: 9/19/22 Adoption fee: $350 PLEASE DO NOT call or email to see if a pet is available. Please read the dog's entire bio before you apply. BamBina is a female yorki-poo mix who is 2 1/2 years old and 10-11 lbs. She came to us very pregnant and has since raised her babies. Of course her puppies all found homes very quickly and now its her turn at a happily ever after. She is sweet, loves burnouts around the house with the other small dog, loves being on the couch and following her person around. She is good with all the people she knows including kids, but is protective with new people (quite the little watchdog). Most of our dogs are not available to an out of the area adoption because of difficulty to follow up. He is 25 lbs of fun and joy and is so cute, perpetual puppy face with big eyes. Jazper is about a year old and has lots of energy, he will need an owner who wants to exercise, maybe some older kids and secure fencing. Jazper loves attention, snuggles, dog beach and lots of fun. Please read the dog's entire bio before you apply. Sadly, we are no longer able to respond to every application, but if your application appears to be a good match for the dog we will reach out within 5 days. Calder is a male mix breed puppy born around 7/8/22. He is now 4 1/2 lbs and is a precious little bundle of black soft fur. We are making a complete guess as to his breed, he looks a little like a spaniel, a little like a pomeranian, a little like a border collie... and who knows what else. Our guess is that he will be a small/medium dog, not tiny and not large, 15-25 lbs being most likely. He loves people, being held and being the center of attention, he is smart and will be a great dog for someone with time/desire and experience to train a puppy. He looks like a little toy bear with button eyes, so cute. He is very active and does not love being confined, as a matter of fact he can figure out a way out of most playpens. This dog is not available to an out of the area adoption because of difficulty to follow up. If you do not live within a 2 hr drive of Orange County, please do not apply. • Special Needs

Please read the dog's entire bio before you apply. Sadly, we are no longer able to respond to every application, but if your application appears to be a good match for the dog we will reach out within 3 days. Steve Brady is a male poodle mix pup, we are told he is is 75% poodle and the rest is bernese mountain dog and st bernard.... but he really looks like a labradoodle. He has straight hair that will shed, maybe not as much a normal lab/retriever, but still he is not the "hypoallergenic" type pup. He was born 2/17/22 and is just under 50 lbs now so we guess he will mature at 60-75 lbs. Steve is a sweet boy, he bonds quickly and loves following his people around but at the same time he is very shy and sudden moves/sounds send him back to his kennel (he likes to hang out in an open kennel) or hiding spot. He is great with other dogs after he warms up to them and for him a large/calm/sweet dog in the home is a requirement as he is much more calm if he has a dog to lead the way. Steve is not super energetic, but mostly because he is timid, he will need confidence building, more training and someone with time to devote to his training. Because fast movement and sudden noises scare him, he would not be a good match for kids under 10. He does well around kitties too. Most of our dogs are not available to an out of the area adoption because of difficulty to follow up. If you do not live within a 2 hr drive of Orange County, please email us before applying to see if the dog you are interested is may be a candidate for long distance adoption. Please read the dog's entire bio before you apply. Sadly, we are no longer able to respond to every application, but if your application appears to be a good match for the dog we will reach out within 3 days. Oakly is a male long haired chihuahua mix, maybe with papillon. He is around 3 years old and 6-7 lbs. Oakly seems like he had a rough life, he came to us very unsure about everything (from wood floors, to leash to housemanners) He is coming along nicely but will require a patient owner with no children to continue helping him on his journey. He loves toys and other small/shy dogs and now he loves walks. Oakly may have an old injury on one of his legs but it has healed well. Please read the dog's entire bio before you apply. Sadly, we are no longer able to respond to every application, but if your application appears to be a good match for the dog we will reach out within 3 days. Morrison was surrendered to a local shelter but because he was not showing well we ended up taking him in. He’s timid, and has a beautiful sleek black coat with expressive brown eyes. Morri is about 18 lbs, 1-2 yrs old and appears to be a spaniel mix. Morri is sensitive to fast movements (his reaction is to sit or drop and show his belly) thus learning to walk on a leash and getting into and out of a car has been tricky but he is getting better. Around calm dogs Morri is great and he would benefit from living with a confident/calm dog who can show him the ropes. Morri is quiet, eats well, and loves getting attention. He will need a quiet place to adjust and warm up at his own pace. Because he does not love fast movements or loud noises, he would do best in a home withough small children. Most of our dogs are not available to an out of the area adoption because of difficulty to follow up. If you do not live within a 2 hr drive of Orange County, please email us before applying to see if the dog you are interested is may be a candidate for long distance adoption. Hendix was surrendered to a local shelter. He is very timid at first but really wants to trust and will crawl into your lap for cuddles. He is very sweet and snuggly, just not confident. He will need more socialization and maybe a confident doggy playmate to show him the ropes. Hendrix is 1-2 yrs old, 11-12 lbs and so cute. He is pretty markings, a medium-long coat and soft ears. Our best guess is spaniel mix, maybe some doxie or chihuahua, he does have long legs though. Most of our dogs are not available to an out of the area adoption because of difficulty to follow up. Please read the dog's entire bio before you apply. Sadly, we are no longer able to respond to every application, but will contact the one that is a good match within 3 days. Harley 4 is a male 2 year old poodle mix, he is just over 20 lbs. He was adopted from us as a young pup and was just returned as he was not a fit for his home. The good: Harley is friendly with strangers, comes up and greets people nicely, says hello to other dogs, rolls over for belly rubs. He is good on the leash, likes his toys and treats and knows some commands such as sit and down. He does have some negative qualities too though, he becomes posessive in his home/food and is not welcoming to strangers, especially men, so he will need work to accept people in the home (slow intros/snacks/controlled setting). He prefers women to men, although he will learn to trust his person even if its a man. He also has a startle strong startle reflex and does not do well when quickly woken up from sleeping or if he is snuck up on. Finally, he hates some appliances such as the vaccum and should be in another room or crate when they are used. If you can get past his quirks, he is a fun, loving, super snuggly lap dog who loves walks/runs and exercise and he would best if he was getting frenquent exercise. Most of our dogs are not available to an out of the area adoption because of difficulty to follow up. If you do not live within a 2 hr drive of Orange County, please email us before applying to see if the dog you are interested is may be a candidate for long distance adoption. • Vaccinations up to date
  • Prefers home without small kids

Please read the dog's entire bio before you apply. Sadly, we are no longer able to respond to every application, but will contact the one that is a good match within 5 days. Marbella is a female 9-10 yr old silky/yorkie type mix, a little 12 lb girl (a little chunky and she should be 8-9 lbs) with the prettiest expression on her face. She is sweet and social and loves attention/love. Marbella came to us with huge mammary masses, they have been removed and biopsied and were thankfully benign... now she needs a home who will take great care of her and love her forever. She does guard her person and is fiercely loyal, so a single person home maybe best unless you are comfortable with some training for resource guarding. She gets along with the dogs and cats in the foster home and does not look or act her age, she is pretty active. Most of our dogs are not available to an out of the area adoption because of difficulty to follow up. If you do not live within a 2 hr drive of Orange County, please email us before applying to see if the dog you are interested is may be a candidate for long distance adoption. • Prefers home without small kidsSpecial Needs

Please read the dog's entire bio before you apply. Sadly, we are no longer able to respond to every application, but will contact the one that is a good match within 3 days. Brewster is a male 2 yr old, 18 lb pug mix.... either puggle (pug /beagle) or chug (pug/chihuahua). Brewster is a timid boy, he gets scared easily of new places and new people but in a home he is a very sweet boy. He does better on anti anxiety medications as he gets overly stimulated and reactive. He will need a dog savy home willing to take their time with him, slow but constant socialization, training, patience. He is very clingy once he decides to trust you (and it doesnt take long at all). A nice calm/social dog may help him by showing him appropriate behavior. Because he is so fearful a home without children is best as visiting friends may be too much for now. He is pretty good on the leash, loves to walk or run in quiet places and very cute. He enjoys getting in the car for rides too. Most of our dogs are not available to an out of the area adoption because of difficulty to follow up. If you do not live within a 2 hr drive of Orange County, please email us before applying to see if the dog you are interested is may be a candidate for long distance adoption.
